Royal Society Of Chemistry Chooses Scholarone Manuscripts
Philadelphia, PA, London, UK, October 21, 2009 – Thomson Reuters today announced that the Royal Society of Chemistry, one of the largest publishers of chemical science information in the world, has chosen ScholarOne Manuscripts to manage submission and peer review for 26 of its journals.
This decision follows the RSC’s use of ScholarOne Manuscripts for five journals the past several months, and the successful completion of a pilot project that resulted in positive author, reviewer, and editorial staff feedback.
“The speed of implementation and professionalism of Thomson Reuters was a major factor in our selecting ScholarOne Manuscripts,” said Dr. Graham McCann, Publisher. “They worked very hard for a smooth implementation of our initial journals, and we look forward to full deployment in June 2010.”
“We are thrilled that our partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry, one of the world leaders in advancing chemical science, has expanded to include their remaining journals.” said Keith Collier, VP and General Manager of ScholarOne, Thomson Reuters. “This partnership is sure to drive innovation, and streamline the RSC publishing process.”
ScholarOne Manuscripts is an innovative, web-based, database-driven peer review and online submission program for scholarly publishers. For more information about ScholarOne Manuscripts, visit www.scholarone.com.
