George has been working with scholarly publishers and societies at Thomson Reuters since 2005. He leads the sales teams for the entire publishing & society ecosystem which includes Peer Review Workflow tools (ScholarOne®), Discovery Tools (including Web of ScienceSM), Research Analytics (Journal Citation Reports®), and Marketing Services (Web of Science Author Connect®). He holds a degree in Communication Arts & Psychology from La Salle University. Before joining Thomson Reuters, George spent 5 year as an Advertising Manager for The Scientist. Prior to scholarly publishing, he worked for 9 years with directional marketing publications via advertising agencies such as TMP Worldwide and also Bell Atlantic Directory Services.
Director, Customer Support
Ron joins Thomson Reuters with over 30 years of experience in the call center field with a diverse background in client services, technology and call center operations with companies such as Global Contact Services, Telespectrum Worldwide and Balboa Insurance Company. He has managed client services teams responsible for project implementation, relationship development and ongoing project management. He was instrumental in leading the growth of a start-up call center firm from concept to 10 domestic call centers and one offshore call center, developing people, processes and technology to support the growing operation. Additionally, his background includes leadership of a technology group as well as day-today call center operations with over 1200 seats of inbound and outbound teleservices. He takes pride in being dedicated toward providing the best customer experience for his clients and their end users. Ron and his team's focus will be on working with our clients to ensure that our support organization is optimally aligned with their needs.
Director, Strategic Client Solutions
Paige Angle joined ScholarOne® in 2000 and is Director of Strategic Client Solutions. Her team directly engages with premier ScholarOne clients to ensure the delivery of best-in-class service across our peer review platforms. Prior to ScholarOne, Paige was a Member Services Manager for an international medical association. Paige holds a degree in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Vice President, Technology and Application Development
John Leech joined ScholarOne® in 2000 and is Vice President of Technology and Application Development. He is responsible for the overall management of the Technology team including all software development. Prior to ScholarOne, John worked in a variety of roles for both start-ups and established Fortune 500 companies. John holds a BS degree and MS degree from the University of Houston. He also pursued PhD work at the University of Virginia.
Senior Manager, Publication Implementations
Kitty joined ScholarOne® in 2004 as an Implementation Project Manager for the ScholarOne Manuscripts product. In 2008, as the new Manager of ScholarOne Manuscripts team, she developed and standardized implementation processes resulting in improved client experiences. Kitty now manages the ScholarOne Abstract and ScholarOne Manuscript Implementation teams. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, held various analyst and 6 Sigma roles with General Electric Corporation. Kitty has a B.A. in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University.
